I'm trying to get information on a Kalamazoo guitar by Gibson. My Dad bought in in 1934. The number is DK 982. It's about 14 1/2 inches across. We can't seem to find any information on this guitar. Has Kalamazoo written on the end of the string bar. Thanks for any info you can give me. Alice

I have a 1929 L-00 flat top gibson it's action is fantastic and play like a new one. My greta uncle jesse denny( whom I am named after) played it on wdtn radio in dayton ohio in 1932, now it was designed and made in 1929 but not offered until 1932 catalog was out. I need a price of this guitar for insurance purposes. Please help thank you jesse

I have an L-OO, circa 1936, per John Bernunzio, a vintage instrument buyer from Rochester NY. It's condition was very good, as nice as the one photo'd here - sold for 3000 dollars. Talked with another seller in Ithaca NY, and he said L-OOs if in good shape usually go for about 3000 dollars. I love the instrument. It is one guitar I will not trade in, no matter what.
