COMMENTS   THIS GUITAR IS TRULY AN UNBELIEVABLE FIND. ONE OF ONLY 166 MADE! THESE PREWAR MARTIN GUITARS ARE VERY, VERY SCARCE. THE FACT THAT IT HAS HAD NO MODIFICATIONS AND IS IN REMARKABLE CONDITION ONLY ADDS TO ITS COLLECTABLILTY. THIS GUITAR WAS PURCHASED FROM THE ORIGINAL FAMILY. IT HAS BEEN BABIED SINCE THE DAY THE FATHER PURCHASED IT NEW IN 1931. THIS GUITAR FEATURES BEAUTIFUL HERRINGBONE TRIM, ORIGINAL LARGE PICKGUARD, ORIGINAL AND RARE RIGHT ANGLE BANJO TUNERS, AND GEORGEOUS SNOWFLAKE FRET INLAYS. OF COURSE THE TONE IS ABSOLUTLY AMAZING. IT IS UNLIKE ANYTHING WE HAVE EVER HEARD.

Hi, I have a completely orginal 1970/71 Fender Strat (originally Olympic WHte but mellowed to deep cream)owned from new with it's original case, Fender supplied lead (very short!) + chrome bridge cover. I would like to know what insurance value I should put on the instrument and would appreciate any advice you can give. I can email pictures if that helps. Thanks in anticipation. Buddy
